Hiking & Plant Medicine
Our 6th edition of “Hiking & Plant Medicine” is the only journey in the world that combines travel with Amazonian plant medicine, in a safe gay-men-only space. We’ll explore the local culture, take a 4-day trek to Machu Picchu, and journey into consciousness through shamanic San Pedro and Ayahuasca ceremonies, held by RainbowMen workshops, sharing circles, and preparation and integration sessions. Day 1 - getting there
We meet at our hotel in Cusco at 15:00. At 3,400 meters (11,152 feet), it’s one of the highest cities in South America. After check-in, we’ll get to know our group, take a first look at the city, and head out for dinner together.
Day 2 - Local Culture
A morning city tour reveals the history and secrets of this magical, mystical city, once the Inca capital. In the afternoon, our first group workshop and a briefing for the 4-day trek to Machu Picchu. Our physical journey begins.
Day 3- Trek to MAchu PicchU
Our trek is considered one of the most beautiful in the world. Today we pass turquoise lagoons and lush mountains, then sleep at Sky Camp in glass domes under the stars.
Day 4 - Trek to MAchu PicchU
We reach the highest point of our trek, 4,610 meters (15,124 feet), in the heart of the Andes, surrounded by snowy peaks.
Day 5 - trek to machu picchu
Ancient Inca ruins appear along the trail. After lunch, a 3-hour jungle walk brings us to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu.
Day 6 - machu picchu!
We wake up early to experience Machu Picchu in the soft morning light, before the crowds, and explore it together with our guide. Then the scenic train carries us through the mountains to Pisac in the Sacred Valley, for a well-deserved rest.

Day 7 - sacred valley
A relaxed day to visit the markets, get a massage, or stroll around town. In the afternoon, we gather to share our experiences so far and prepare for the ceremonies ahead. We’re done climbing mountains. Now we journey inward.
Day 8-ayahuasca ceremony
We arrive at one of the most traditional Ayahuasca centers in the Sacred Valley, meet the shamanic team who will guide us, and prepare for the night. At 18:00, a heart-opening meditation leads into our first ceremony, which lasts until around midnight
Day 9 -ayahuasca ceremony
We begin with an integration session on last night’s experience, with the option to volunteer with the local community during the day. In the afternoon, a love and compassion meditation leads into our second ceremony, again until around midnight.
Day 10 - Pisac
After a morning integration session, we return to Pisac to reflect on our Ayahuasca experiences, enjoy the surrounding nature, and prepare for San Pedro.
Day 11 -San Pedro Ceremony
We begin in the maloca, the open ceremonial space in the garden. After drinking San Pedro, we spread out across the garden, held by nature and stillness, for a day of deep emotional and spiritual healing. As the effects fade, dinner awaits, and then a deep night’s sleep.
Day 12 - integration & the journey home
After a morning sharing circle about San Pedro, we return to Cusco for our final integration: sharing what the medicines and the Sacred Valley have taught us, and how to carry these gifts into everyday life. One last group hug, and we head home grateful, knowing ourselves a little better, with new brothers around the world. Wow, what a trip!
